"First, it's not central pahia, but I think this was a good thing - a bit quieter than the motels on the main strip. I'd say the Sunseeker offers very good value, and very clean. Only 5-10 min drive from Pahia, so highly recommended for those on a budget or looking for better value than the motels in Pahia itself. Each unit is self-contained and separate, so you won't be disturbed by the neighbours. Handy gas BBQ as well, which was an unexpected bonus. "

Driving Directions
From Auckland
- Take State Highway 1 north to Whangarei (about 2.5 hours).
- Keep going north toward Kawakawa and take State Highway 11 (straight ahead) to Paihia (about another hour).
- Drive right through Paihia along the waterfront and turn left at the roundabout, into Puketona Road. Then travel past the Shell Service Station (left side) and Countdown (right side) toward Haruru Falls.
- Drive for about 3km until you see the sign for Haruru Falls on your left near the top of the hill. Then turn left into Ash Grove Circle, where you will see the signs for the entrance into Sunseeker Cottages Motel.
From Kerikeri Airport (about 20 mins.)
- Turn left at the Airport and go to the big roundabout
- Turn right onto State Highway 10 and drive for about 7km
- At Puketona Junction turn right toward Paihia
- After about 10km you will get to Haruru Falls
- Go uphill nearly to the top of the hill and look out for the sign of Sunseeker Cottages Motel on your right.
